Edgar Wallace Mysteries – S03e01 Number Six – An international criminal arrives in London, and a detective is anxious to pin something on him for some unprovable murders of former lovers. The villain starts to suspect servants and henchmen of being a police spy known as “Number Six”.

Man in the Attic (1953) – After an enigmatic, self-described pathologist rents the attic room of a Victorian house, his landlady begins to suspect her lodger is Jack the Ripper.

Midnight Manhunt (1945) – A gem heist gone wrong leaves a wanted man dead. A female reporter finds his body and, to claim the reward, hides the body in a wax museum. When the body vanishes, the hunt is on.

The Ghost that Walks Alone (1944) – Eddie Grant is a radio station sound-effects man whose honeymoon takes a turn for the worse when they discovers the corpse of a program producer in their honeymoon suite.

Prison Train (1938) – Underworld rivals try to kill a gangster (Fred Keating) going by rail to Alcatraz.

Hollywood Story (1951) – An independent producer unwisely opens a can of worms after he decides to make a movie about the unsolved murder of a famous silent film director in 1929.

A Shriek in the Night (1933) – Pat Morgan and Ted Kord are rival newspaper reporters always trying to outscoop each other. They join together to solve a series of murders being committed in an apartment building.

Charlie Chan In London (1934) – Charlie visits a wealthy country home in England. Suspects in the murder range from a housekeeper, to a stableman, to a lawyer.

The Man Who Knew Too Much (1934) – An ordinary British couple vacationing in Switzerland suddenly find themselves embroiled in a case of international intrigue when their daughter is kidnapped by spies plotting a political assassination.

Two Dollar Bettor (1951) – An honest bank employee gets hooked on horse racing, and starts to embezzle bank funds in an attempt to recoup his losses.

Cast a Dark Shadow (1955) – Edward “Teddy” Bare is a delusional psychotic with a lust for wealth, older women and murder. Having committed what he thinks is the perfect murder of his elderly wife; Teddy sets his sights on new targets when her fortune goes elsewhere.

Race for Life (1954) – A car pilot must choose between his love for car-racing, and his wife. His buddy’s accident will help him to choose, and his loyal ways will get him a new friend – his main rival.
