The White Spider (1963) – When gamblers who recently increased their life insurance begin dying, Scotland Yard gets involved. When their chief inspector is murdered, they bring in a mysterious detective to solve the case.

Bullet Scars (1942) – Gangster Frank Dillon abducts Dr. Steven Bishop to treat wounded Joe Madison. Dillon also takes Joe’s nurse sister. Dillon threatens Bishop’s life if Joe dies, but Bishop knows Dillon will kill him anyway.

The Stranger (1946) – An investigator from the War Crimes Commission travels to Connecticut to find an infamous Nazi.

Sabotage (1937) – A Scotland Yard undercover detective is on the trail of a saboteur who is part of a plot to set off a bomb in London. But when the detective’s cover is blown, the plot begins to unravel.

Moss Rose (1947) – Set in turn-of-the-century London, a woman trying to solve the mystery of a friend’s murder finds that she may be the next victim.

Crime Doctor (1943) – Amnesia victim, Robert Ordway, becomes the country’s leading criminal psychologist. When he is hit on the head (by someone from his past) he suddenly remembers his previous life as a criminal.

Dishonored Lady (1947) – A beautiful editor at a fashion magazine has a breakdown due to the pressures of her work and her disappointing love life. A psychiatrist recommends that she start life fresh by moving into a smaller apartment and under another name.

Scream in the Night (1935) – A colonial police detective in an Eastern seaport seeks a stolen gem, and infiltrates the underworld by posing as a look-alike wharfside bar owner.

Charlie Chan at Treasure Island (1939) – Charlie’s investigation of a phony psychic during the 1939 World Exposition on San Francisco’s Treasure Island leads him to expose a suicide as murder.

Rope of Sand (1949) – A man abused by a sadistic mining company cop before he could tell where on their desert property he’d found diamonds decides to steal them instead.

Try and Get Me (1950) – A man who is down on his luck falls in with a criminal.

Treasure of Fear (1945) – The jumpy chess editor at a newspaper accidentally gets involved in some murders at a sleazy tavern run by a pair of bizarre brothers.
